MakerKids offers hands-on, project-based STEM programs where kids learn through creating, experimenting and solving problems with technology.

What Makes It Different
MakerKids uses a project-based approach, giving children opportunities to create real projects rather than only learning technical concepts in isolation. Its multidisciplinary Idea Incubator program is particularly suited to children who want to explore several areas of technology before deciding what they enjoy most.
No experience is required for many beginner programs. More advanced options may have prerequisites depending on the technology and level.

Designed for younger learners, Mini Makers introduces children to Coding, Robotics and Minecraft through creative projects and experimentation. Kids may design games, explore robotic inventions and use Minecraft as a 3D design environment while developing early problem-solving, planning and design skills.
Kids explore Coding, Robotics and Minecraft through a multidisciplinary approach. Classes rotate between the three areas and encourage children to make connections between technology, projects and the world around them.
For older learners looking for more advanced technology experiences. MakerKids also offers advanced coding options including Python, Java and HTML for Grades 6–8.
Kids learn coding through project creation, including game development concepts such as character development, storyboarding, animation, environment and level design, and testing.
Kids explore robotics and engineering concepts by designing solutions, working with electronics and programming robotic systems.
Minecraft is used as a creative STEM environment where children can explore coding, 3D design, problem solving, communication and other technical concepts.
