The Secret Dance Technique offers small-group and private online dance classes for children and teens that combine dance instruction with confidence-building and life skills education. Through styles including K-pop, ballet, hip-hop, jazz, and contemporary, students develop their dance skills while intentionally building confidence, resilience, focus, creativity, and other real-world skills through movement.
The Secret Dance Technique offers interactive online dance classes that combine movement, dance technique and intentional life-skills development. Designed for kids and teens, the program uses dance as a fun and engaging way to develop skills that can be useful both inside and outside the dance class.
Each class focuses on a specific life skill—such as confidence, focus, creativity, adaptability, persistence, motivation, memory, growth mindset or emotional awareness—and connects that skill with movement, dance practice and reflection.
Students learn dance fundamentals and choreography while participating in interactive activities and discussions designed to help them apply what they are learning beyond the dance floor. No previous dance experience is required, and classes can be adapted to different experience levels.
